How to REGISTER for Online classes
Please call or email the studio for instructions on how to register for an online class. You can register for Zoom classes at any time during the session. Sessions run on four week blocks. If a regular class doesn’t fit your schedule, we offer drop-ins. Just email or call and we’ll do our best to fit you in.
Mat Pilates classes incorporate the principles of the STOTT Pilates method - a contemporary, anatomically-based approach to Joseph Pilates' original exercises. A "thinking person's exercise," focusing on postural strength, flexibility, alignment and coordination through the strengthening of both the mobilizing and stabilizing muscles within the pelvic and spinal region. These movements are performed primarily on the floor, at times using small equipment to further challenge the core and supporting muscles.

Tuition Pilates Mat Series - 4 Week Session

PowerPump! is a strength training class incorporating the stabilization principles of Pilates. A high repetition, low weight class using dumbbells and light weight barbells with adjustable plates. This is a great class for maintaining bone density, toning and building strength.

Do you have chronic muscular tension in your body(always feeling like you need to stretch one or a group of muscles) or would you like to explore new pathways of heightened body awareness? Somatics is a heart centered approach to neuromuscular re-education of your nervous system. With guided, slow mindful movements you will learn about the terrain of your bodily sensations to alter stress, find new or forgotten ways to move and develop your ability to listen to your mind and body as one.These conscious, slow and thoughtful movements will strengthen your life force and create a joyous effervescence to your day.

Tuition for Gentle Somatics Series - 4 Week Session
PST is an advanced stretching technique designed to increase functional flexibility, safely and efficiently. PST is different from traditional limbering stretches in that it utilizes the Contract-Relax technique to re-pattern chronically tight or restricted muscles. We deepen the contract-relax experience by adding trigger point/fascia work. Through stretching you release muscular tension and allay common aches and pains associated with stress, age, sports, or too much work at the computer. A perfect complement to Pilates, PST will unlock your body to truly experience the full benefits of Pilates.
During this 75 minute class you will learn your own patterns of tension and how to change them, while gaining a deeper understanding of yourself, increased flexibility, strength, and an improved quality of life.

Meditation is a mental exercise that trains attention and awareness. Its purpose is often to curb reactivity to one's negative thoughts and feelings, which, though they may be disturbing and upsetting and hijack attention from moment to moment, are invariably fleeting. It’s impossible for us to make our thoughts disappear; often, the more we try to suppress them, the louder they become. But practicing meditation can help clear away the mind’s chatter. Studies show that meditating even for as little as 10 minutes increases the brain's alpha waves (associated with relaxation) and decreases anxiety and depression.
